Administrative Secretary (Temporary)

We are seeking an Administrative Secretary to:

* Provide administrative support to Directors, Managers, Supervisors within the department

* Coordinate activities including purchasing, preparing department budget reports, and similar activities.


Minimum – High School Diploma

Preferred – Technical degree or post high school education

Work Experience:

Minimum – Two years of experience in an Administrative support function

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

* Knowledge of the principles of office management/procedures as applied to effective organization of office and department operations.

* Knowledge of basic to intermediate accounting and financial practices.

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one, which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.

Work Schedule:

Temporary, Full Time: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend or off shift hours required.
