Full-time position for a CD Case Manager in Lynnwood, WA. The Chemical Dependency Case Manager is a person who is in training to become a Chemical Dependency Professional. During their internship they will work directly under the supervision of a CDP. During their internship they will work directly under the supervision of a CDP. This person will learn all of the duties and responsibilities of a CDP.

These duties include how to:

  • Be a liaison between the public and the facility, organize and provide direct counseling services to patients, provide a one-to-one or group counseling, assessment, evaluation and intakes.
  • These services are given to adults and their families.
  • These clients have a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency and may also have emerging mental health problems.
  • Applicants are expected to subscribe to the disease concept of chemical dependency with the belief that total abstinence is required for ongoing recovery from alcoholism and other drug addiction.
  • Education requirements for a CD Case Manager: Must have completed all the classes required to become a Chemical Dependency Professional and must have completed all the practicum hours required by the State Department of Health to become a Chemical Dependency Professional.


Chemical Dependency Professional:

  • The CDP is the liaison between the public and the facility.
  • Will be responsible for organizing and providing direct counseling services to patients in a secure residential setting.
  • The counselor is the agent for providing services to patients whether on a one-to-one or group basis, performs assessment, evaluation, and intakes.
  • These youth/adults have a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency and may also have emerging mental health problems.
  • Applicants are expected to subscribe to the disease concept of chemical dependency with the belief that total abstinence is required for ongoing recovery from alcoholism and other drug addiction.
  • Education requirements for a CDP: Must possess the required college certificate that qualifies them to be a CDP. In addition this person may possess a Bachelor’s degree. Must have a “Chemical Dependency Professional” license from the Department of Health.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • CPR certification required.
