Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a IAM Operations Provisioning Specialist PSJH to our location in Lubbock, TX.

We are seeking a IAM Operations Provisioning Specialist PSJH to be responsible for provisioning of access (the process of creating, maintaining, and removing user accounts to various systems, ensuring the right level of access at the right time). Working under established guidelines, policies and protocols, this position ensures the proper access to all types of enterprise applications and data communications systems and services for each customer. Work with mission-critical and sensitive data and systems throughout the course of their daily work, providing customer support as well as 2nd level support to resolve access related issues. May provide 24/7 on-call customer support for access related issues.

In this postion you will:

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of provisioning and fulfillment of access requests for the primary service markets they serve. Work independently to provision access to core systems, achieving accurate, timely results with few errors.
  • Provide customer support and tier 2 support for end user community. Analyze request to ensure appropriate approval and authorization have been provided. Coordinate and communicate with end users to analyze and assist in timely closure of their requests.
  • Work under direct supervision to provision access to moderately complex systems, taking direction from other team members, supervisor, manager or director.
  • Complete assigned tasks on time.
  • Can perform basic levels of troubleshooting of issues, under the direction of other team members. Has a basic understanding of current desktop operating systems, Active Directory, Exchange, and file permissions.
  • Use support documentation, knowledge articles, and user guides in fulfillment of requests and to resolve incidents.
  • Accurately record and document relevant details of the fulfillment in approved tools, and appropriately communicates resolution to the customer.
  • Triage requests to other team members and performs basic Epic builds (EMP/SER records).

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Associate's Degree in distributed computing environment, healthcare, or customer service environment or equivalent educ/experience
  • Ability to analyze information, evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities
  • Working knowledge of desktop software applications (e.g., MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet, Email)

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Current professional or technical certification for Specialist position
  • Bachelor's Degree in distributed computing environment, healthcare, or customer service environment or equivalent educ/experience
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities
