Sales Development Program - Sales Engineer

The Sales Development Program (SDP) team member, plays an integral part in supporting the sales and marketing teams by selling CECO products, solutions and services to industrial clients. This job role is a combination of training and rotation roles designed to build knowledge, capability, and competence in field sales. SDP team members will participate in CECO's Leadership Development Academy, a year-long program designed to build future leadership capability. Participants will also engage in CECO's sales training and sales certification programs, and designated soft skills training. Rotation assignments include but are not limited to application engineering, inside sales and outside sales.

Essential Job Duties:

* Build knowledge of the rich history of CECO and CECO's values.

* Prepare and make formal presentations to customers.

* Conduct regular visits to direct customers

* Secure new direct customers

* Work collaboratively with direct customers in the design and development of products.

* Create product specs and perform installation reviews.

* Ensure installation standards are maintained in all applications.

* Complete data acquisition & engineering analysis / calculations on all product installations.

* Offer technical support to departments and customers in after-sale & field related issues.

* Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements.

* Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders.

* Visit establishments to evaluate needs or to promote product or service sales.

* Maintain customer records, using automated systems.

* Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms.

* Partner with CECO management, decision makers and key leaders.

* Recent Graduate w/ a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Open to All Engineering Areas of Emphasis)

* Strong Oral and Written Communication skills with desire to impact organization revenue through Sales

* Strong Goal Orientation and the desire to pursue a Career working directly with Customers as a Technical Sales Representative

* Possess a Valid State issued Driver's License with ability to provide proof of insurance
