New Loan Input Supervisor

The New Loan Input Supervisor is responsible for new loan input and verification of all loans while maintaining the expected results on the annual customer service survey and meeting the performance metrics as set forth by management. This position is also responsible for the direct management and supervision of the New Loan Input Specialists and coordinating their workload to ensure all tasks are being completed in a timely manner.


* Bachelor's degree in a business related field or equivalent work experience required.

* Minimum of 3 years New Loan servicing experience required.

* Minimum 1 year previous supervisory experience required.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Internet applications and Portable Document Format (PDF).

* Exhibit strong leadership presence by engaging staff in modeling and setting clear expectations. Maintain a high level of cooperation and rapport with all employees in order to ensure accurate and efficient operations and service.

* Verify weekly input of rate changes for completion and accuracy

* Prepare and test scripts for acquired banks and Horizon IRB/Releases.

* Assist with testing and implementation of new/updated Servicing systems (ie. Interface). Responsible for completion of assignment of creation, writing, and entering of test scripts.

* Monitor the input of all modifications and extensions converting from one system to another.

* Convert ML Construction to new permanent loan products in accordance with compliance and lending document information

* Comprehend complex issues, identify business impacts and provide resources necessary to resolve in depth research requests.

* Review (annually) and maintain/create written procedures when applicable for New Loan area.

* Monitor the daily general ledger outage sheets to ensure they are cleared within 48 hours.

* Provide the necessary resources to resolve research requests.

* Know compliance responsibilities and particular requirements affecting your area of responsibility incorporate these requirements into your business processes and procedures, perform periodic self-assessments including corrective action as needed, and assure appropriate training to associates regarding these responsibilities and procedures.

* Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with multiple levels of associates, including senior officers.

* Requires a high energy level and strong sense of urgency; ability to work with situations on a "rush" notice.

* Strong attention to detail & organizational skills.

* Must be self-motivated and also work in a team environment.

* Have the ability to provide the necessary tools to ensure staff members meet or exceed established department standards

Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


* Travel between Republic Banking facilities may be required.

* Requires a flexible work schedule that will include some evenings, weekends and overtime work.

* Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.

* Occasional out-of-town travel is required.
