Dutiesinclude management of inventory as it relates to picking products,replenishing, and requisitioning within assigned areas of high value goods,such as Surgical Services, Cath Lab, EP and Imaging. Duties are not limited tothe supply room, but extend to all areas of the hospital. Responsible forpulling products for cases as assigned. Monitors and assures inventory levelsmeet demand tracking usage & setting inventory levels for specific group ofproducts, in support of PAR & Perpetual locations.

Essential Functions

1. Restocks supplies daily and rotatesinventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitionsas needed

2. Distributes medical supplies andequipment to patient care areas

3. Monitors par levels for specificproducts to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not toaffect patient care

4. Identifies excess inventory, returningstock and processing credits

5. Notifies supervisor of outdates orslow moving inventory

6. Participates in the put away andvalidation process of perpetual inventory items

7. Issues and credits materials from theinventory management point-of-use system

8. Labels bins and handles requests tochange pars

9. Maintains clean and orderly stocklocations

10. Acts as liaison between clinical staffand supply chain management for assigned high value areas, such as SurgicalServices, Cath Lab, EP and Imaging

11. Works in collaboration withreprocessing resources, leadership, and buyers to optimize usage of reprocessedproducts

12. Conducts annual inventory count todetermine asset value and additional inventories as requested

13. Manages consigned inventory andprocesses bill-onlys as appropriate

14. Assists in other duties as assigned

Education /Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):

High school graduate, GED, or equivalent required.

Experience(required and preferred):

Minimum of three(3) years' experience of management of inventory required or other relevantexperience strongly preferred
