Job Description

Louisville's newest luxury hotel will be positioned and supported by this role of researching and building new clientele for Falls City Market. This person will collaborate with the General Manager of Falls City Market through event creation, unique meetings, social exposure and relationship management it will be paramount to the role of earning a reputation. A passion for building long lasting relationships, all things digital, strong writing skills, a collaborative spirit, and attention to detail will drive success in this position.

Responsibilities

* Drive local creative community awareness and build customer fan base

* Research organizations to find new customers

* Selling of products and services to new and existing customers

* Cold calling to arrange various meetings at customers' premises to market Falls City Market catering

* Works with the sales team to drive revenue during need times through creative offerings and events

* Develop presentations, proposals, etc. as needed

Qualifications

* Strong networker with natural flare for event planning and programming..

* Excellent written and verbal communication, grammar and editing skills.

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

* Bachelor Degree in Business/Marketing preferred.

* Must have previous sales, marketing or business management experience.

* Strong sales and negotiation techniques.

* Valid drivers license
