Wellness Director ( LPN / RN )

Position Summary:

Overall direction, coordination and supervision of the resident care to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care.

What will you do in this role:

• Highly acute oversite to keep department operating within all federal, state, and local regulations
• In compliance with the Company’s policies, is responsible for interviewing, hiring, developing, supervising and following the Company’s performance management policy with assigned staff
• Provide clinical expertise to facilitate and support the nursing process in resident interventions and care provided
• Support Executive Director in planning and scheduling of staff training programs for care staff
• Assist in pre-admission assessments of potential residents. Assists in orienting new residents to the physical environment and community culture
• Responsible for making sure that all required medical records are kept up to date in PCC
• Ability to grow the skillsets of individual and collective team abilities

You have:

• Current LPN or RN license
• One-year experience as a supervisor in a health care facility
• Three years experience in Senior Care, Assisting Living and Memory Care setting
• Highly developed nursing skills; thorough knowledge in understanding and interpreting nursing philosophies, programs, and policies
• Demonstrated commitment to high professional and ethical standards
• Ability to think critically
