Process Operator/Technician - We are looking for exceptional candidates for our Process Operator positions at our Loudon, TN manufacturing facility.

Position Summary:

Process Operators in our Loudon Plant are responsible for the safe operation, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of a highly automated, state of the art system that produces distinctive, high quality ingredients and solutions to the food, beverage, and other industries.

Compensation is based on a Skill Block pay-for-knowledge system with starting pay @ $ 24.62.

Required Capabilities:

* Capability to diagnose, operate, correct, and manage the outcomes of complex processing systems (mechanical and chemical).

* Ability to learn new concepts and information using process procedures, manuals and diagrams.

* Ability to clearly communicate ideas and information, both written and verbal.

* Ability to teach both technology concepts and operating procedures to other technicians.

* Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures, climb stairs, climb ladders up to 15 ft, lift & carry up to 55 lbs, and perform other physical duties.

* Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule ( 3 on – 3 off) in a 365/24/7 operation with the flexibility to work alternate schedules during plant outages or as needed.

* Knowledge of pumps, compressors, distillation systems, reactors, centrifuge, filtration and evaporation systems a plus.

* Certification in SCBA, emergency response and Hazmat a plus.

Education & Work Experience:

* Associates degree or higher preferred with minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.

* Three to five years related experience and/or training preferred.

* Must be able to demonstrate basic mathematics, reading comprehension, and problem solving skills
