Position TL:DR…

We’re looking for an Senior UI Designer who will be inventing the signature look for an emergent IP. This person will be interpreting diverse game styles into resonant user interfaces. This position sits between Art, Design, and Product for user experience, and will be reporting directly to the Product Design Director.

Who you are…

• Understands how to create, maintain and apply easy-to-scale design systems to the development process.
• Have a strong and diverse command of typography, iconography, composition, color theory, Gestalt theory and where to apply these techniques.
• Comfortable in a variety of UI tools, (i.e Sketch,Figma, Axure, InVision Studio, Adobe XD, Proto.io etc.) With an Insight for when to use which tool or technique for the right need.
• Understand Information Flow and Hierarchy, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot UX opportunities.
• Know when to white box, when to mock-up and when to implement for the best use of time and impact.
• Able to design and implement UI for multiple platforms and understands those tradeoffs.

What you’ll be doing…

• Create scalable design systems that can apply across many products and form factors.
• Provide appropriate design artifacts, including journey maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and occasionally high-fidelity shippable assets in numerous visual styles.
• Communicate and employ data-informed vision and design rationale to all stakeholders.
• Ensure experiential quality and consistency across features end-to-end.

What is required of you...

• 5+ years experience in UI for games or other apps
• Familiarity with Unity
• Experience optimizing assets for mobile
• Familiarity with game art and animation pipelines
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch or other industry design and prototyping tools

Extras we would love to see…

• Deep experience with Figma or Adobe XD
• CSS/javascript skills
• Familiarity with Unity
• Experience with making animations for UI
• Familiarity with web design

Salary Range

$120,000-$140,000
