Performs routine and complex Respiratory Therapy for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Assignment MUST include all critical care areas and intensive care units. Performs duties or projects assigned by the Director, Assistant Director, Clinical Specialist and/or Shift Supervisor. Will work under the supervision of the RT III Clinical Supervisors and RT IV Assistant Director. Educational opportunities will include the training of new employees; in-servicing staffs on new equipment and techniques, customer service, communication and public relations are key aspects of this position. May be required to work in any area in the Health System. May require rotating shifts Day/Nights.

Qualifications

Must have three years of NICU/L&D experience and can function independently in the NICU.

Must be proficient in intubating neonates and must have done an intubation within the last year.

Must be competent using the oscillator and nitric-oxide on neonates.
