At Stockwell, we are using design and technology to rethink brick and mortar retail - we place stores right where our customers live, work and play and curate the products in our stores with the help of our customers. This is all possible because we design, build and operate automated stores that put the customer first with a seamless, frictionless checkout experience.

We are looking to hire a highly motivated individual to join our Operations team as a part-time Operations Associate in a delivery/driving role. Your main responsibility would be to deliver products to all the stores that need to be restocked and ensure the stores are merchandised correctly. Looking for team players who are detailed oriented, hardworking, and have excellent attendance records. Retail/merchandising experience a plus.

We have vans for deliveries so you won't need to use your own car. It's a great job with a fun team - you will spend most of each day driving so you can spend your day listening to music/podcasts/news.

This is a part-time position based out of our Los Angeles facility.

Details:

  • The pay is $15 per hour.
  • You will be paid during training.
  • Needed for deliveries 4 times a week.
  • Deliveries typically take 6-7 hours so you will be looking at getting paid approximately 24-30 hours per week.
  • You must have a phone with internet, a valid driver's license, and a CLEAN driving record. We will be checking your driving history.
  • Some packages can be as heavy as 30-40 pounds so you must be able to carry that much weight safely.
  • The warehouse is located in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

  • Needed for deliveries 4 times a week.
  • Deliveries typically take 6-7 hours so you will be looking at getting paid approximately 24-30 hours per week.
  • Pick-up your daily shipments at the warehouse each morning.
  • Follow your assigned route during your shift to deliver goods to each store in your route.
  • Ensure all stores are merchandised correctly and are clean and presentable.Interact politely with all customers and clients and be able to answer any questions they may ask you about our service.
  • Audit counts and expiration dates as needed. Return all excess items back to the warehouse at the end of each shift.

Requirements:

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Have a positive attitude and be a team player.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must be comfortable driving in all areas of the Los Angeles (including downtown driving).
  • Must have a phone with working internet.
  • With or without reasonable accommodation, must be able to lift or maneuver 30-40 pound shipments.
  • Experience in warehouse, driving, and/or deliveries (2 years preferred).
  • Experience in merchandising or related retail roles (1 year preferred)
