Position Summary: The Clinical Services Educator#(CS) is responsible for providing clinical support and educational programs in their department. The CS Educator will work in conjunction with the leadership team of their department and active participation with CHLA related Clinical and Educational Committees as appropriate. Minimum Qualifications: The Clinical Services Educator#(CS) is responsible for providing clinical support and educational programs in their department. The CS Educator will work in conjunction with the leadership team of their department and active participation with CHLA related Clinical and Educational Committees as appropriate. Duque 4 and Duque 5 are combined inpatient medical-surgical units with a total of 44 beds. The 5th floor contains a 6 bed epilepsy monitoring unit and both units care for a variety of general surgery, surgical specialty, and medical patients. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for education, quality/safety initiatives, and project leadership. Education/Licensure/Certifications: Bachelor#s Degree in Nursing Required; Master#s in Science of Nursing or Education preferred. Current RN Licensure in the State of California and BLS # PALS Provider Card required. Nursing Professional Development Certification preferred.
