Responsibilities /Responsabilités

The Biller is responsible for ensuring that the billing function is performed accurately and in a timely manner.

Key Deliverables:

* Process accurate daily billing in a timely manner.

* Maintain good communication with the client with regards to billing; client interaction is required.

* Provide bid/actual reports for client, sales, producers, and project managers.

* Review and maintain Bids/Rate Cards and Purchase Orders from clients.

* Maintain open and regular communication with Sales staff.

* Inter-face with Operations, Sales, Project Managers, & Producers in a fast-paced environment.

* Communicate with Project Managers/Producers to help expedite work orders.

* Communicate project status to Billing Manager as necessary.

* Verify pricing/information as necessary to generate an accurate invoice to the customers.

* Continuously evaluate the unbilled ageing and propose potential actions/write-offs.

* Identify proper services/resources and work with Producers, Operations and Sales to create accurate invoices.

* Communicate project status to Billing Manager as necessary.

Leadership and Influence:

* The Biller is responsible for supporting the Billing Department to accomplish department objectives.

Qualifications / Qualifications

* A degree from a 2 or 4-year college with an emphasis in Business or Accounting and 2 year related general accounting. experience or equivalent work experience is necessary.

* Willing to learn and take direction, while maintaining a positive attitude.

* Ability to multitask and be proactive.

* Strong organizational and communication skills.

* Should take pride in quality of work produced.

* Strong software skills, ability to work in various systems (ScheduALL and SAP).

* Must be a team player and take the initiative to help the rest of the department whenever possible.

* Previous experience with post-production billing, preferably Mastering and Dailies, for both Feature & Episodic projects.

* Must have good follow up skills.

* Must be able to follow directions.

* Keen attention to detail.

* Thorough knowledge in Computers including a strong knowledge of Excel, Word and database applications.
