Interim HealthCare Staffing is seeking an experienced scheduler to join our team in Longview, Texas. We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail oriented, has the ability to multi-task, has excellent computer and phone skills, has scheduling experience, and is an overall team player. Interim HealthCare Staffing provides medical personnel to facilities in Longview Texas, Tyler Texas and the surrounding areas. The person for this position will be the liaison between the medical facilities and our Interim office, scheduling staffing personnel at the facilities when they call us with their needs. Scheduling requires a lot of time on the telephone, so good telephone communication and etiquette is important. You will also be the first person people see when they come through our front door, so knowing how to greet the public is essential.

Hours:

This position is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., in addition to “on-call“ phone rotation of every other weekend, and some weekday evenings. (Being available for “on call“ every other weekend is a requirement of the position and is additional pay.)

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls, texts, and emails from facilities and clients for staffing needs.
  • Work independently to staff multiple facilities with healthcare staffing personnel.
  • Maintain computer schedules and ensure timely data entry of facilities and employees, monitoring daily, making any appropriate corrections to the system to facilitate accurate processing of payroll and billing.
  • Works with supervisor and other team members towards office and business goals.
  • Communicate with multiple facilities to determine staffing needs and arrange/coordinate the requests.
  • On-call evenings and weekend rotation (additional pay for this.)
  • Build relationships with facilities and field staff.
  • Perform general office duties including but not limited to assisting with hiring processes for staffing employees, making packets, filing, reception, and telephone services as needed.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent time management skills
  • Front desk or receptionist experience
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Telephone etiquette and customer service skills must be exemplary
  • Must have a clear understanding of medical terminology as well as great communication skills
  • Proficient in Windows, Word, and Excel
  • Must be a self-motivator (takes initiative to seek out projects when you run out of things to do)

Weekly Pay

Competitive Pay Rates: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
