Cameron Field Service Technician

This position primarily works at rig and well locations and is responsible for:

* Ensuring, as the Cameron representative, that the job goes as planned

* Installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of wellheads and valves per equipment specifications

* Will disassemble, visually inspect and disposition conventional wellhead and single or multi-cavity gate valves,chokes and other standard wellhead components.

* Troubleshoot routine installation and operation problems with the above listed products

* Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings

* Seeking advice from sales, production,engineering on products and installation issues to include process, spare parts, fit and function

* Communicating problems and issues with the job site leader

* Preparing service tickets timely per guidelines

* Responsible for the safety of self and others including reporting of all work related injuries, near misses, equipment damage and unsafe acts as soon as practicable to supervisor or senior technician

* Advising customers on repair and replacement options and costs of standard products

* Being a liaison between company sales,production and engineering personnel and customers on product and product installation issues including but not limited to job procedures, spare parts and fit and function

* Working in SAP system, Quest system and complete all assigned safety training.

Minimum Job Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED

* Minimum of 2 years Field Service experience

* Strong mechanical aptitude/ ability

* Ability to communicate effectively with customers, visitors, vendors and other employees

* Demonstrated ability to read and understand oral and written instructions

* Take apart and put together equipment according to detailed specifications

* Ability to work in confined spaces, travel to remote locations, extended irregular work hours and in extreme weather conditions

* Valid drivers license
