About The Role - You Will

The successful candidate will join the Security Engineering team enabling the industry for adoption of Security Storage products through architecture, firmware and requirement development. This role will focus on Security Firmware and Architecture development within Security Engineering organization. This will require interaction with international resources supporting storage device development.

About You

Successful candidate will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining architecture and firmware solutions.

Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments.

Your Experience Includes:

* Demonstrated programming capabilities in one or more languages such as C, C++, assembly, Python, etc.

* Demonstrated problem solving capabilities and able to readily applies critical thinking.

* Experience of micro-controller and its interaction with firmware.

* Experience of memory management, task scheduling, and subsystem interfaces

* Some experience and knowledge of cryptography with strong interest in its industrial application.

* Some experience and knowledge of basic security protocols and its fundamental design.

* Experience and appreciation for software engineering processes.

* Experience using firmware and hardware development tools (emulators, trace, version control, oscilloscopes, compilers, linkers, and analyzers).

* Self-motivated and be able to comprehend and apply new knowledge quickly and effectively on the job.

* Demonstrated communication skill and ability to articulate technical issues.

* Willingness to learn and achieve results through a multi-disciplined, worldwide organization.

* Ability to travel domestically periodically, and internationally.

* Experience with security and storage security protocol standards (TCG, NIST, ISO, CC, FIPS, etc.).

* Coursework or experience with advanced mathematics.

* Experience and knowledge of hardware of storage drives.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science /Computer /Electronic Engineering with 5~8 years' experience in firmware development.

* Master's or PhD. in Computer Science /Computer /Electronic Engineering with at least 4 years of experience in firmware development is also desired
