The Job

Administers the services that support social programs benefiting older adults and the community. The Togetherness Coordinator oversees the staffing and scheduling of sessions and events to meet program goals.

You Will

Administer the services provided through social programs benefiting older adults and the community. Establish session and event schedules, assign supporting volunteer staff, organize logistics, and facilitate the delivery of services to clients.

Establish and maintain positive working relationships with community organizations.

Continually promote volunteer opportunities throughout the organization and within the community.

Maintain an active volunteer pool by recruiting and interviewing potential candidates, processing paperwork for clearances/permissions, training, running scheduled reports, organizing recognition events and facilitating volunteer meetings. Leads volunteers in the delivery of client services. Provides work direction, monitors performance and coaches to develop staff skills.

Maintain client database and track participation and engagement in events and activities.

Develop and maintain program evaluation and tracking protocols by establishing tracking and matching systems to monitor client intake, progress, satisfaction and outcomes.

Identify, report and manage program enhancement opportunities.

Other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

5 years of work experience in an administrative role responsible for coordinating client services.

Experience scheduling and leading the work of others is highly preferred.

Experience working with older adults is preferred.

Ability to build successful relationships with a variety of people.

Ability to speak comfortably in front of large, diverse audiences

Ability to take initiative and work independently, while also building teams.

Experience coordinating diverse groups of individuals to achieve success of the overall program.

Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask.

Ability to appropriately maintain confidentiality and abide by HIPPAA legislation.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills required.

Bilingual Spanish preferred.
