Mechanical Design Engineer (Injection Molding)

Responsibilities:
1. Will work with the R&D team in designing the next generation Hydrafacial machine starting from an Industrial Design Concept
2. Will work with the R&D Team in performing a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test, prototypes, manufacture and implement)
3. Will interact/collaborate with the Marketing Team to ensure that the voice of the customer (customer needs) has been addressed in the design
4. Will interact/collaborate with the manufacturing/production team to make sure that the ease for manufacturing has been addressed in the design
5. Will interact/collaborate with vendors on any issues related to the design
Qualifications:
1. Strong knowledge and working experience with Solidworks 3D CAD software
2. Strong knowledge and working experience with different types of plastics
3. Strong knowledge and working experience with different plastic molding processes
4. Strong knowledge and working experience with Metals and metal forming processes
5. Strong knowledge and working experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
6. Knowledge and experience with IEC 60601-1 - Medical electrical equipment

Qualifications:

7. Knowledge and experience with IEC 60601-1-2 - Part 1-2: General requirements for basic safety and essential performance - Collateral Standard: Electromagnetic disturbances
8. Knowledge and experience with pneumatic system
9. Knowledge of basic electronics
