Salary

The targeted salary may be set as high as $3,348 per month based on experience. The salary range for this classification is $2,846 to $4,852 per month.

Appointment Dates

Full-time temporary position for three years with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.

Position Description

Under the supervision of the Director and Assistant Director of the Office of International Student Services (ISS) and in close collaboration with the CIE staff, the International Student Services Coordinator supports the daily operations of the ISS office. The International Student Services front office operational duties include interacting with and providing efficient information to international students, managing advisor appointments, responding to inquiries via email, telephone, and in-person, and supervision, scheduling, and training of student assistants and managing student health insurance enrollment. Clerical duties include data entry; processing student requests for letters; batching, issuing and maintaining SEVIS records as a Designated School Official (DSO); maintaining confidential student files; and coordinating ISS projects as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director.

Education and Experience

Equivalent to four years of administrative support experience required. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for two years of experience. International study, work, volunteer, or travel experience (preferred but not required).
