The CRC Operations Resources Team is seeking to fill an Operations Analyst position to support our Drilling & Operations groups. The position will be located out of our Long Beach, CA office.


* Responsible for OpenWells data governance, validation and quality assurance of costs and required well information and reports

* Assists with OpenWells data input

* Provides Maximo support for drilling and wellwork activities and the work order process

* Provides support for drilling yard, maintenance and non-rig activities including cost and budget tracking and value of work done estimates of support accounts

* Provides WST support and data input

* Assists with scheduling and coordination of rig and non-rig activities as required

* Provides support for material/OCTG and fluid inventory tracking and reconciliation

* Provides support for procurement of materials and equipment

* Provides support for project cost/invoice reconciliation and accuracy

* Assists with well permitting as necessary

Required qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years of experience in oil industry

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, etc.) and OpenWells, Oracle and Maximo data applications

* Good analytical skills and ability to research and analyze drilling and wellwork, OpenWells and Oracle data

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Excellent time management skills

* Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision

* Must be self-motivated, versatile, and willing to learn

* Must be a team player with the ability to work on multiple assignments concurrently

Preferred qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance
