Medicare financial business needs

Identify high member utilization, high unit costs to improve services

In depth knowledge and experience with Medicare

Understand CMS - Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and reporting requirements

Colaborate across company for coordination of Medicare business

Managed Care / Market Place / Commercial lines of business

Responsible for developing the organization's Medicare / short- and long-term financial plans and identifying financial opportunities to improve the organization's profitabilityFinancial planning and analysis function to serve as a business partner across the organization. Develop, communicate and monitor financial and operating plans enterprise wise. Provide reports and analytics to improve management's understanding of and management of the business. Engage and partner with all levels of management including Molina's CEO, CFO, CAO, CMO and COO.• Develop and manage a continuous forecasting process with a focus on measured accuracy

* Develop deep analyses and benchmarks to support growth objectives and managed expenses.

* Develop and manage standardized monthly, quarterly and annual cycles around budgeting , forecasting and reporting

* Lead the annual budgeting process

* Interview, hire, coach, develop and manage a team including a director and or manager and greater than four analysts to provide best in class support. Set goals, expectations, track progress and provide feedback to celebrate achievements and correct performance issues for team members

* Support the operating departments to ensure an analysis-based justification for the launch/continuation of business activities and strategic initiatives

* Support departments with financial plans and metrics required for business development and acquisitions

* Prepare and add value to presentations for executive management, board of directors and external stakeholdersJob Qualifications

Required Education

BS Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting. MBA required.

Required Experience

10 years plus accounting and financial analysis experience with at least 5 year of supervisory responsibility.

Health insurance experience required. 5 years experience in developing, evaluating, managing, and monitoring business plans.

Preferred License, Certification, Association

CPA, CFA or CMA desirable.
