If you are into working in a dynamic, fun, and exciting Finance environment, where your business acumen often makes a difference, the Advance Programs Development-Mission Engineering (APD-ME) Finance and Business Operations (F&BO) team is seeking such a person to join our team.

This person will be responsible for performing cost management and Earned Value Management (EVM) activities on various development programs, with activities including: support to Control Account Managers (CAMs) on several study and development programs, providing analysis and reporting of financial data to the management team to allow for execution of optimal business decisions. If you are the chosen candidate, you will enjoy a fast-paced environment, allowing you the autonomy to play a vital role in assisting the Program Managers you will support.

Specific requirements will be in support of the Earned Value (EV) process and financial performance measurement including compliance to PPMP (Performance Management) requirements. Duties include: establishing and maintaining control account budget baseline and estimates at complete; supporting the submittal of customer CPR and Funding status reports as required, analyzing EV performance data and advising CAMs.

Also, input and maintenance in cost tool (COBRA); supporting CAMs on Variance Analysis; interfacing with planning to ensure cost and schedule integration; supporting internal customers in various meetings and data requests including monthly customer reviews and ad hoc requests; Rolling Wave Planning, Integrated Baseline Reviews and Internal Surveillance Reviews as required. You also will support the pursuit end of a given effort by providing F&BO support to any proposal efforts as required. The candidate should be adept at balancing competing priorities. Strong communication skills are required as this role interfaces with many functions (Planning, Program Management, Engineering, etc.).

The successful candidate will be able to complete assignments by applying knowledge and skills previously developed, but will have an open mind, to learn new skills required for a high performing, well-rounded F&BO Analyst.

Basic Qualifications:

  • PPM/EVM knowledge/experience and appropriate applications/execution
  • Cost systems (SAP, COBRA, etc.) knowledge/experience of able to quickly learn these systems based on similar past experience
  • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills
  • Ability to apply skills and knowledge to provide logical data driven analysis
  • Ability to build strong work relationships and balance tasks in a competing priority and deadline-driven environment
  • Must have ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
