SUMMARY - Provide quality, accurate and timely customer service involving daily processing of financial transactions in an operations environment, which include the duties and responsibilities described herein. Position requires that the individual handle extremely complex issues and possess current knowledge of specific financial products or regulations (for example Regulation CC, Regulation E, etc.)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily perform a variety of routine clerical, administrative, reconciliation, and/or data entry functions necessary for the processing relative to the mission of the department.

* Daily post entries to accounts, make adjustments, and ensure balancing as required.

* Monthly prepare volume, transaction and/or routine reports.

* Daily review and verify documents for processing.

* Daily respond to inquiries to resolve complex and sensitive problems.

* Daily perform basic arithmetic calculations to determine charges, balances, interest, etc.

* Daily may prepare department account files (hard copy as well as computer system files) and update related records.

* Daily conduct complex account research.

* Daily review items and documents for discrepancies.

* Daily may generate standard department forms and correspondence such as requests for additional information, notices, etc.

* Daily data enter information into pre-established computer software files and print related reports/documents.

* Daily work with various vendors (IRS, Federal Reserve, law enforcement) to resolve complex, high dollar issues. Large customer relationships may be involved and mishandling could cause a large financial loss to the bank.

* Occasionally work on bank conversion and system upgrade projects.

* Daily perform all other related duties and special projects as assigned.
