Compensation and Benefits Analyst

* Retirement administration – process weekly plan funding, monitor weekly payroll deferral integrations and resolve discrepancies, coordinate annual audits, conduct periodic internal audits and review and update internal controls as needed, review regular plan financial reporting, respond to questions and resolve discrepancies.

* Compensation administration - assist in the areas of quarterly incentive program administration, job evaluation, hourly wage progression development, and salary survey completion.

* Benefits administration - monitor weekly health vendor integrations and resolve discrepancies, process weekly funding and monthly invoicing, research and resolve escalated issues through 3rd party vendors, conduct periodic audits to ensure integrity of enrollments and payroll deductions between multiple systems, respond to government agency inquiries and update enrollments, manage the tracking and documenting of administrative benefit appeals.

* Resource for internal HR staff and employees – respond to inquiries related to compensation and benefit matters.

* Benefit plan cost analysis – monitor and analyze experience of all benefit plans and vendors, including identification of trends and preparation and maintenance of a variety of reports.

* Prepare benefit communications for annual enrollment, new hire and ongoing enrollment, and regular ongoing education.

* Assist with compilation of data and documentation for compliance-related submissions such as Form 5500, Summary Plan Descriptions, Summary of Benefits and Coverage and other required documentation.

* Identify opportunities to improve processes, including preparing and analyzing regular management and audit reports and ensuring integrity of the HRIS and other systems.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

* Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.

* Ability to prioritize workload, self-directed to manage multiple tasks without close supervision, thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes while consistently meeting deadlines.

* Strong technical and analytical skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Workday experience a plus.
