ALLO Lincoln Business Installation Technician

Overview

Installation Technician I will be the primary face to face contact with our customers. They will provide extraordinary customer service and will also have the capability to route wires and work with equipment related to residential and business communications on an all-fiber network.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

Prepare various types of cablesInstall various types of splice closuresField polish connectorsSingle fiber splicingCompetently operate a light source and power meterKnowledge to identify different types of equipment such as telephone systems, fax machines, IP related equipment, set top boxes, wireless routers, network switches and ensure functionality of all equipment.Capability to maintain and inspect equipment at installation and troubleshoot effectively to quickly correct problems with service

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide extraordinary customer service and an excellent customer experiencePrompt attendance to work and scheduled job sitesObtaining and maintaining ALLO Communications required tool supplySafe handling of all productsAccurate paperwork (time sheets, change orders, delivery tickets)On-call rotations once trained to a competent levelQualifications

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

Ability to learn and grasp new concepts on the jobClean MVR to drive ALLO Communications vehiclesAbility to work evenings and weekends

COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
