Overview/Description:

Provide exceptional support to Boon Edam's employees and customers in answering/routing service calls, maintaining and compiling technical literature and manuals, performing general administrative

support.

Job Duties:

* Promptly and courteously answering incoming Technical Department calls determining purpose of call, answering questions, and forwarding to appropriate personnel or department via phone system or taking messages when personnel are not available.

* Diligently retrieving messages from Technical voice mailboxes throughout the day and forward to the appropriate personnel.

* Regularly and accurately monitoring and tracking Technical Department Schedules/Services.

* Coordinate and schedule job activities of upcoming projects.

* Submit technical installation coordination data to subcontractors and distributors for the use of installation on projects.

* Identify and report to finance department invoicing of services and installation.

* Accurately tracking and submitting job hours for payroll and job costing and making database entries.

* Identify and take responsibility for technical issues that fall outside the natural boundaries of other departments, liaising with Customers, and colleagues to arrive at a timely and satisfactory conclusion.

* Make decisions on liability/warranty with Boon Edam's interest at the fore, but with due sensitivity to Customers.

* Assist with supporting parts orders/processing

* Schedule and provide up-to-date information regarding TS Department installation/service schedules. Produce documentation as required.

* Display at all times a courteous and responsible attitude towards work, colleagues and customers; in general promote and enhance the image and profitability of Boon Edam.

* Carry out any other tasks as reasonably requested by the relevant line management to

ensure the smooth running of your office/dept.

Minimum Requirements:

* 1-3 years administrative experience

* Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook skills

* Demonstrated multi-tasking skills

* Demonstrated written and oral communication skills

* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team

* Knowledge of general office machines and telephone system

* Customer service oriented
