STEPS Case Manager

Job Summary

This position addresses the needs of students who are experiencing distress and/or causing distress to others. This position will work directly with students who are facing challenges in non-academic (health, economic, discipline, relationships, etc.) areas that are affecting their ability to be successful in their academic career or otherwise disruptive to the community. This position will facilitate a variety of interventions, referrals and follow-up services. Responsibilities include collaboration and consultation with academic partners, health care providers, colleagues within the Division of Student and Academic Life, and parents. This position reports directly to the Community of Concern Director.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience

Prefer a Master's in Social Work, Public Health, College Student Personnel or related.

Preference for 2 -3 years of experience in student affairs, social services, case management, counseling, project management and/or coordination.
