Job Summary: Conduent is seeking a Network Engineer Level II to work as part of a team in a 24x7 365 day Global Network Operations Center. The Network Engineer Level II position is responsible for triaging incoming alerts from a variety monitoring applications and escalating issues as needed in a timely manner to make sure nominal SLA impact is achieved. Work well in a team environment, ability to multi-task minimal supervision and persistence with follow-up on issues is expected.

This role will be integral in supporting this 24x7, 7 days a week operation with 3 shift work needed. An on call schedule with rotations is required.

In this role, you'll be collaborating with an innovative team of people moving forward and working to improve systems and processes along the way.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Acts as an escalation point for Level 1 NOC personnel regarding tickets and alerts needing assistance, planning, or technical work to ensure proper resolution.

* Performs advanced diagnostics using software and hardware tools.

* Provide critical network operations support to diagnose and respond to large networking events.

* Troubleshoot networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network devices.

* Lead high priority tickets involving servers, networks or other critical escalated requests.

* Maintain ownership of escalated requests throughout the life span.

* Provide input on SOP based on quantifiable data experience in the support of the large scale environment.

* Perform other related duties when assigned.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent information technology experience.

* Cisco CCNA Certification or equivalent work experience.

* 2 plus years of supporting Windows Operating systems, version 7, 8, and 10.

* 2 plus years of support Windows Server OS version 2008 and 2012. Working knowledge of 2016.

* Experience in BGP, MPLS VLAN, GRE, IPSEC and other network protocols and technologies.

* Experience/Exposure to VMware servers.

* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

* Natural aptitude for dealing with people.

* Detail oriented and capable of working on multiple alerts at once.

* Must be willing and able to work non-standard work shifts, including evenings, overnight, holidays and weekends.

* Must be currently eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship

* Must consent to and successfully clear all required pre-employment screenings.

Preferred Qualifications:

* CCNA or other certifications desired.

* Substantial background in support of large scale service provider or enterprise networks.

* Knowledge of ITIL V3 or certification.

Location: This position is located onsite in Lexington, KY. No relocation assistance is provided.
