Ancestry is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Fold3 team. Fold3.com is a leading site for historical military records. The Fold3 team handles all aspects of development and maintenance of the Fold3 site. The Fold3 team is a small, highly agile and efficient team that also has responsibilities for some projects outside the scope of the site. As a Software Engineer on the Fold3 team you will develop, test, and maintain software for the Fold3 site and other projects as required. Specific responsibilities are varied, and include working on backend and frontend services, and writing client code using modern frameworks.
What You WIll Do:
- Develop backend services in Java
- Develop frontend services in NodeJS
- Develop client code and components
Who You Are:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
- Proficiency in Java
- Experience with Typescript, React and Angular a plus
