HR Business Partner

Partner with business functions to maximize human resources programs to ensure they're aligned with our business goals. Our ideal candidates should have solid experience with HR practices, organizational development and business understanding. You will communicate with the functional leadership to express new ideas, propose solutions that fit our company culture. Ultimately, the role should be able to act as a consultant on human resources management and organizational initiatives.


* Consult with functional management to provide HR guidance or suggest initiatives to improve group efficiency and deliver on functional business goals.

* Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase performance and retention.

* Resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct needs analysis to determine ways to proactively fix future issues.

* Identify training needs or gaps for individuals and teams and partner with HR department to create solutions.

* Evaluate effectiveness of HR programs within functional groups and organization. Propose ways to simplify or increase

* Provide coaching on employee and leadership development

* Monitor and report on workforce planning. Propose plans to increase retention and provide career paths for high potentials and future leaders.

* Suggest new HR strategies or suggest program guidance to improve goals

* Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department


* Proven work experience in a previous HR role

* BS degree in Human Resources or related field and 3-5 years experience. Advanced degree preferred

* Thorough understanding of HR and organizational behavior principles and or experience in an organizational behavior role.

* Excellent people management skills

* Analytical and goal oriented

* Demonstrable experience with HR metrics

* Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices

* Proficient with various software applications. (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)

* Solid business background or knowledge
