Job Description

Responsible for overseeing, leading and directing a team of sales and service professionals within a Branch Cluster of two (2) branches. Provide assigned branches with leadership, coaching and direction in the areas of sales, service, customer concerns, operations, risk management, human resources, business development, and community involvement. Reinforces the Bank's mission, vision and values by serving as a culture agent, motivating employees to achieve higher standards and promote a commitment to excellence in sales, service, knowledge/training and technology driven products and processes. Ensures the desired results are achieved in the areas of goal achievement and profitability through a prudent approach to retention, attraction and expansion of client relationships through branding and relationship building. Leverages multiple delivery channels, creating value and competitive advantage within cluster of branches managed. Collaborates with all business partners to ensure team based approach in providing needs based financial solutions to clients.


* Drive revenue through effective expense management and sales execution to ensure profitable franchise growth. Contribute, manage, coach and lead team to drive sales results through acquisition, contact plan engagement, business development and retention of client relationships. Drive business development activities, prospect and source new high value business and consumer clients within the community. Maintain valuable and profitable consumer and business relationships by providing value added products and services to include lending and alternate investment solutions. Lead and manage full utilization of the client relationship management system. Represent Investors Bank in the communities served through participation in community events and activities to enhance IB's image. Leverage community affiliations and drive additional business increasing Care 2 Share program enrollment. Drive cluster branch sales and performance and provide feedback based on local intelligence to support the continued growth and development of assigned branches within the cluster. Provides ongoing feedback on market conditions within a cluster, including competitive analysis and market demographics.

* Oversees and manages cluster branch operations and business risk through adherence to IB's policies and procedures. Projects solid knowledge around the new account opening process, documentation and other requirements. Limit branch risk to preventable losses by ensuring that all branch employees are vigilantly aware of suspicious activity and are current on operational changes. Provide guidance and training to branch employees on operating problems and handling of exceptions within the required time frame. Exercises sound decision making to identify and mitigate potential risk. Ensure assigned branches adheres to operational policies, compliance requirements and security measures. Accountable for the overall operational and servicing activities for both branches. Ensure satisfactory audit rating.

* Lead and develop an effective team through communication, performance management, development plans and reward/recognition practices. Drive employee engagement and ensure optimal employee experience through coaching and guidance on employee development and career growth. Evaluate and formulate a strategy to capitalize on employee strengths and manage weaknesses to effectively maximize performance. Ensure that all employees are cross trained and utilized to the optimum level. Navigate employees through coaching and influence from regular bankers to passionate professional bankers. Schedules and conducts monthly branch meetings.

* Drive superior client experience through delivery of non-negotiable behaviors and recommendation of value added products and services derived from needs based conversations. Project a professional image of self and IB by providing solutions that are in the best interest of the client. Create customer loyalty through disciplined follow up and consistent contact strategy. Be the "Go to Banker" in the community.


* Branch Managers

* ABM, CSAS, PB and CSA1

* Ownership of customer relationships


* A Bachelor's degree or comparable professional training and five (5) years of banking experience are required.

* Banking experience must include a minimum of three (3) years as a Branch Manager.

* Ability to train, motivate and influence people is necessary.

* Must possess good communication skills and be a team player.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

* Must be flexible and willing to adapt to schedule changes and be willing to travel to branch locations within an assigned cluster.
