In order to be considered for this position, you must meet all state licensing requirements, including:

* 21 years of age

* High school diploma or GED and one year of qualifying child care experience or

* Child Development Associate credential or a Child Development and Related Care Diploma or similar credential where the course of study includes an intensive practicum in child care as part of the curriculum and which is approved by the Department or

* Associate's degree in early childhood education and six months of qualifying child care experience or

* Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or child development or

* Bachelor's degree in a field other than early childhood education or child development and three months qualifying work experience and

* Successful completion of a biennial training program in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and a triennial training program in first aid, provided by certified or licensed health care professionals covering emergency care to infants and children
