Yield & Pricing Specialist

Specialist performs a variety of functions relative to the yielding and pricing of charter flights and commercial seat blocks.



* Maximizes revenue through seat allocation and overbooking of flights

* Evaluates historical performance by market/Rep and identifies demand patterns/trends

* Identifies and analyzes market influences and how they are affecting demand – recommends forecast and pricing strategies for future flights as well as current flight standings

* Summarizes data and analysis results and presents to management

* Maintains passenger load counts and advises Manager of current flight standing

* Analyzes the potential of and recommends extra lift

* Analyzes and assists in securing waitlisted passenger

* Maintains relationships with Branch Offices/Junket Reps/NCM to ensure block allocations are appropriate and maximized

* Creates Groups, Rate Plans, Templates and Group Blocks at Properties via LMS

* Assists Manager of Revenue Optimization with other tasks needed to ensure the success of the Charter Program


* Bachelors degree preferred.

* Two to three years gaming, analytics, revenue management or hotel preferred

* Previous exposure to data analysis

* Knowledge of AS400 hotel reservations system and airline software

High degree of PC skills (MS Office applications/database tools)


* Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work under general direction with latitude in planning workload to accomplish objectives

* Entrepreneurial attitude, able to take ownership and deliver high quality results

* Detail-oriented, good organizational skills and ability to manage time and multiple tasks

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet expectations of multiple constituents.


Must be able to move in and around quickly on the casino floor. Must be able to respond calmly and handle many customer demands in a fast paced environment. Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, and balance. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke. Able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized and pay attention to details. Must have manual dexterity to operate the computer and necessary office equipment.
