Manager Architecture - Infrastructure

* Must be at least 21 years of age

* Bachelor's Degree preferred in a related discipline; significant applied experience or a combination of education and experience may be substituted

* 8+ years of professional IT, leadership experience delivering enterprise-level application and system solutions

* 6+ years leading initiatives that involve complex enterprise integration with operational systems, including, but not limited to, near real-time interface dependencies, multi-level infrastructures and enterprise data impact

* Understanding of the principles of TOGAF or equivalent architecture design methodologies and strategies that are targeted and/or have been implemented within the existing environment

* Working knowledge of Visio, Enterprise Architect and other architecture design tools

* Experience evaluating project requests and proposals for viability, assist with requirements definition, and advise on potential impacts to existing applications.

* Ability to participate with Product/Project Management and other teams to estimate total project cost if necessary

* Ability to work closely with Product/Project Managers to ensure projects remain on target.

* Passion to keep abreast of emerging architectural and technological trends.

* Ability to regulate provisioning of resources while providing project leadership to identify available solutions, project cost, resource, and time forecasts

* 10+ years of general team management experience in IT or other technology-related organizations is strongly preferred

* Familiarity with the general architectures and functionality with multi-level, service-based infrastructure a plus

* Systems and/or gaming industry experience preferred

* ITIL V3 Foundtain Certification Preferred

* Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsible for providing leadership, oversight and direct input to design technology architecture at an enterprise level. In coordination with Director of Technology Architecture, leads the system and application architecture design in various functional business domains and corresponding projects. Provides vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving ability to Architecture Team. Familiar with a variety of the enterprise architecture concepts, practices, and procedures.

Some responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Lead, manage and direct activities related to specific area of IT

* Provides guidance and leadership to all levels of staff as required

* Establishes and directs priorities for work group efforts

* Assign personnel to projects and ensure the timely completion of them

* Develops and designs support operations and processes

* Approves design solutions/tested methodologies and ensures that appropriate documentation is prepared

* Responsible for management of staff who oversee project teams; systems, or technologies

* Effectively uses appropriate tracking, metrics and reporting systems to manage, report and escalate issues

* Interacts with other IT team members to ensure successful and smooth completion of projects

* Regularly meets with users, vendors and IT staff to develop/modify system specifications

* Able to clearly and effectively interpret IT and technical information for communication to upper management

* Evaluates employee job performance according to established standards

* Actively participates in management and leadership meetings

* Keeps senior management well informed of activities needs or problems

* Focuses on staff technical and professional development

* Ensures that all work conforms to established P&Ps

* Ensures staff compliance to regulatory requirements

* Performs risk assessments and develops corrective actions

* Keeps staff up to date and informed on new/revised P&Ps

* Establishes and monitors standards of performance for staff

* Directs the creation and approval of P&Ps

* Develops and prepares reports, business case analysis as requested

* Hires and transitions employees to maintain appropriate staffing levels

* Ensures that new staff members receive a comprehensive orientation to the company

* Develops, manages and maintains budgets as appropriate
