JOBSUMMARY: Supervises the personnel and operation of theCage on an assigned shift.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Supervisespersonnel and daily operations of Cage.

* Providesa positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and cooperation within thedepartment, and other departments.

* Safeguardsdepartment and company assets while dealing with the public in an efficient andcourteous manner utilizing company service standards at all times.

* MonitorsCage activities for adherence to company policies, and various gamingregulatory regulations.

* Authorizescredit within established authorization levels.

* Performsbanking activities including processing of checks, markers, etc.; purchasing ofcurrencies as needed.

* Supervisesoverall operation of Cashier Department personnel and cage clerks.

* Ensuresexcellent guest courtesy and satisfaction.

* Resolvesdisputes with guests when applicable.

* Adheresto compliance of all gaming regulation and any other governmental agencieswhere applicable.

* Preparesand coordinates periodic performance reviews of staff.

* Preparesscheduling of shift to meet business demands.

* Coordinatesdaily functions accordingly to ensure efficiency of cage operations.

* Assistin interviewing applicants for Cashier positions.

* Actsas a role model; always presenting oneself as a credit to the company andencouraging others to do the same.

* Meetsthe attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmentaland company policies.

* Assistsin other duties assigned by the Cage Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Mustbe 21 years of age or older.

* HighSchool Diploma required. College degree preferred. Any combination of education,training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills andabilities.

* Minimumof 1-2 years supervisor experience required

* Minimumof 1-2 years related experience required

* Ability to communicate with all levels of management in a clear, friendly, and confident manner.

* Must be able to get along with fellow team members and work as a team.

* Must present a well-groomed appearance.

* Must be self-motivated and be able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized.

* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

* Good mathematical and clerical aptitude for accurate record keeping.

* Excellent customer service skills a must.

* Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically a Nevada Gaming license

PHYSICAL,MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must have the manualdexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment. Fastpaced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. Must be able to handle a heavy businessvolume, and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in atimely manner. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. Mustbe able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke.
