Loan Documentation Review Associate II

Summary:

A Loan Documentation Review Associate is responsible for coordinating and processing commercial, consumer real estate, and consumer loan closings. This includes accurately gathering all necessary customer, collateral, and approval information needed for document preparation, in accordance with bank policy and regulatory requirements. Once this information is gathered and reviewed for completeness, provide accurate and timely documentation and funding. The coordination effort includes instructing, guiding, and coaching lenders, loan assistants, and retail personnel in the proper methods of gathering needed information. The LDR II position primarily focuses on more loans.

Responsibilities:

Performs various loan operation duties which may include one or more of the following:

1.Provides outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.

2.Gathers all necessary customer, collateral, and approval information needed to accurately document all types of loans

3.Instructs, guides, and coaches loan assistants and lenders in what is needed for closing and how to obtain it.

4.Reviews documentation and collateral on commercial and consumer/consumer real estate loans for completeness and accuracy in accordance with bank policy and regulatory requirements.

5.Prepares and delivers timely disclosure information to customers.

6.Prepares and delivers accurate loan packages to the lender/loan assistant/retail personnel in a timely fashion, as per the department's SLA.

7.Receives scanned copies of the closed loan package. Reviews documentation for proper signature and completeness, resolving any issues with the closing staff.

8.Funds loans within 30 minutes of receipt.

9.Delivers electronic loan packages to Loan Administration for booking.

10.Provides direction and support to the loan documentation associates as needed.

11.Handles phone calls, incoming and outgoing mail for Loan Document Review group.

12.Maximize use of available time, volunteering to help wherever needed.

13.Produces documents within acceptable performance and production standards.

14.Maintains knowledge and develops professionally on a continuing basis through various training resources.

15.Assumes other responsibilities and performs routine or special duties associated with the functions of the Loan Operations Department as may be delegated by supervisor.

16.Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized business courses

2. (3) years previous loan processing, documentation and collateral experience

3. Excellent typing/keyboarding skills including accuracy

4. Must have effective interpersonal & communication skills (written and verbal)

5. Ability to operate standard office equipment including PC, telephone, copier, fax machine, scanner
