Loan Administrative Assistant

Summary:

Provides loan support to the retail and commercial lending division regarding the booking of loans and the servicing of these loans. Assist with the balancing of all loan accounts.

Responsibilities:

1. Set up loan clients in CIF system.

2. Data enter all new, renewed and extended loans on the system. Set up overdraft protection, Prime Line Accounts, SBA and Direct lease loans.

3. Process note payments, advances on lines of credit and set up AFT loan payments, incoming and outgoing wires for loan payments.

4. Prepare SBA Loan remittance and prepare SBA Guaranty Fees report and remit to Colson.

5. Monitor all alternate payment schedules on loans.

6. Back up all loan balancing functions.

7. Understand bank mission, organizational structure, employee handbook, bank security, policies and procedures, standards of conduct and incentive program

8. Have an awareness of general banking services.

9. Assist clients & employees by phone, email & helpdesk.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum high school graduate or equivalent

2. Equivalent to a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.

3. Two to five years of similar or related experience.

4. Must be detail oriented.

5. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to assist all employees/officers with loan inquiries or problems. Service loan clients in person and on the phone.

6. Provide prompt quality customer service to internal and external clients ensuring follow up is done within acceptable time limits

7. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
