The Clinical Nurse RN is an integral part of the team with the opportunity to practice evidence-based care and utilize the nursing care process in a collaborative environment. This position independently performs the nursing process through individualized assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of safe, therapeutic, efficient care of patients with overt and subtle needs throughout the continuum of care, according to unit's standard of care. 3-East is a 36-bed unit that is specializing in Gastrointestinal and urinary patient population. We promote optimal patient care in a collaborative environment and provide an intermediate level of quality nursing care for a diverse patient population that includes ECG monitoring and assessment. Full-Time; 12-hour day shift: 7:00am-7:30pm including every other weekend
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Current unencumbered California Registered Nurse licensure
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- One year recent Acute Care Progressive Care Unit/Telemetry RN experience
- EKG interpretation skills
- Positive attitude, team player and good communication skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing
- Current ACLS certification
