Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Wholesale Banking Relationship Manager by providing highly skilled administrative assistance in the preparation, documentation, funding, and servicing of loans and deposit products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Loan documentation

* Gather information for credit decisions at the request of RM

* Setup loans using the GulfPak system

* Implement attorney prepared documents, order flood reports, and title policies at the request of RM

* Ensure that loan document packages are sent to the loan service center within 10 business days of loan closing. To be monitored annually by the loan servicing center for errors in package presentation. The LSC staff to provide an annual evaluation upon request from Relationship Manager or LOB Executive.

* Mail invoices, process payments, and loan payoffs so long as this process is managed in the field.

* Process loan advances in accordance with policy and procedures at the request of RM

* Maintain quality credit, collateral, and draw files

* Loan Exceptions

* Responsible for keeping 90 day loan exceptions to a minimum. Relationship Managers credit quality score for 90 exceptions to be no less than an 8. Under circumstances where the CCA supports multiple RMs, the score will be determined under a weighted average of loan portfolio size of all officers supported.

* Deposit Operations

* Responsible for all wires initiated by the RM

* Responsible for daily overdraft monitoring

* Responsible for all deposit research requests

* Knowledgeable in treasury management products

* Cross Selling

* Seek out cross selling opportunities with existing clients (treasury management, additional depository services, mortgage referrals, investment referrals, etc) A goal of 5 qualified referrals annually.

* Responsible for continuing education in the loan and deposit functions

* Attend training to re-enforce their knowledge and presenting to supervisor for approval.

* Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills necessary to interact positively with both customers and staff members

Education and /or Experience

* High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

* Five plus years related experience or a college degree

Language Skills

Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. The associate should also have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Must also have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Word Processing software; GulfPak software, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
