You get one of the best privately held small business headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, that provides advanced technology and expert consulting services to industries throughout the world. AEgis specializes in modeling & simulation (M&S) and micro/nanoscale technology development. Our core competencies include simulation software and training simulators; geospatial databases; 3D models; war fighter exercise support; systems engineering and analysis; verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A); test and evaluation support; Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) and Man-in-the-Loop (MIL) simulation. AEgis' Nanogenesis Division excels in advancing cutting edge micro and nanoscale technologies from concept to deployment with applications ranging from defense to energy to biotechnology.

The Junior Analyst will provide analysis for research and development activities, within a team, associated with directed energy (DE) weapons in a mission context (realistic military scenarios) using modeling and simulation (M&S). Mission contexts include the threats, sensors, weapons, command and control (C2), and the platforms that support these sensors, weapons and C2 (aircraft, vehicles, fixed ground units, etc.). The missions are played out in controlled experiments to determine the military utility of various scenarios and combinations of systems.

The Junior Analyst will develop scenarios, and systems in an M&S environment by scripting of system behavior. This development will require direct communication with scientists, developers, and warfighters to ensure correct representation of system capabilities. The Junior Analyst will support the preparation, execution, analysis, and reporting of military utility studies, to include written and oral reports and presentations.

Travel will be required. Estimate four trips per year with a duration of four days, each.
