Administrative Support Manager

Position Summary:

Naval Submarine Base in Kings Bay, GA currently has an opening for an Administrative Support Manager to provide administrative management support to the Navy Administration Department for approximately 1,000 military members, including assistance to the MCSFBN Commanding Officer and Executive Officer. This management support includes advising senior military leadership on status of manning profiles, upcoming transfers (incoming/outgoing), and Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) eligibility to ensure the MCSFBN remains manned at a level to support NWS operations.

Minimum Education & Experience Required:

* High School Diploma

* Minimum 24 months of experience in supervising or managing administrative support functions

Duties/Task:

* Monitor and report weekly the command's military manpower for approximately 1,000 military members (Using the Enlisted Distribution, Verification Reports, and Post Validations systems).

* Attend daily Executive Department leadership meetings to ensure Navy Administration and Manning resources functions align with MCSFBN goals and requirements.

* The Administrative Management Support shall liaison with Bureau of Naval Personnel (BUPERS) for all requirements relating to personnel distribution.

* Monitor and coordinate MCSFBN personnel rotations.

* Ensure personnel qualifications and skill levels align with organizational and Navy-wide requirements.

* Recommend MCSFBN staffing rotations to ensure no gaps in corporate knowledge, mission leadership, or operational needs.

* Advise MCSFBN command leadership on Navy Administrative requirements and ensure compliance with all aspects of Naval Administration and Personnel related functions.

* Review and make recommendations to administrative policies and procedures.

* Maintain and coordinate the personnel benefits programs to include: Special Duty Assignment Pay, Basic Allowance for Housing, Family Separation Allowance, and Basic Allowance for Substance ensuring all qualified personnel receive appropriate benefits and provide training, conduct annual review and routine audits of each program.

* Provide oversight and workload distribution for 5 functional areas

* Prepare, review and submit correspondence and award recommendations to the MCSFBN Adjutant

* Oversee and maintain the command evaluation program

* Prepare and process DRB documentation

* Provide customer service replies via email, phone and in person
