You will serve as an Administrative Services Assistant in the Resource Management Group (TRF-302), Repair Department (TRF-300) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Responsibilities

* You will perform a variety of program support duties involving the preparation of components of letters, articles, correspondence, and/or publications.

* You will prepare and modify internal tracking systems to inventory, monitor, and analyze program components of the office such as budget tracking mechanisms and records management systems.

* You will support and maintain efforts including departmental timekeeping, monetary awards, command directives, departmental awards processing, department budget and procurement, personnel actions etc.

* You will coordinate and montor office facilities for the processing and maintenance of office products.

* You will explain resources, services, and administrative processes to clients using the appropriate forms and making appropriate referrals following established procedures.

Qualifications

To qualify for the Administrative Services Assistant/GS-0303-06 position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1) Experience utilizing fiscal and personnel policies and procedures involved in procurement management, fiscal planning, human resources processing, and timekeeping;

2) Experience analyzing data to make recommendations for corrective actions for routine job assignments;

3) Experience resolving discrepancies in procedures such as security clearance, vacancy fulfillment, time and attendance reports, etc.

To qualify for the Administrative Services Assistant/GS-0303-05 position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1) Experience applying administrative support methods and principles;

2) Experience gathering and communicating factual information orally and in writing;

3) Experience preparing letters, memoranda, personnel forms etc.

Education

Successfully completed education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite is creditable for the GS-5 position.
