SimVentions, consistently voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for Journeyman Configuration Management Analysts to join our team and provide systems test support in an integrated contractor-government team developing and testing real-time weapons systems and naval information systems.

Responsibilities: The Journeyman Configuration Management Analysts will provide configuration management to support system testing of real-time weapon systems and/or naval information systems and will mentor Junior Configuration Management Analysts on the team.

Required Skills & Experience:

At least three years of experience in the following:

  • 3+ years of experience with configuration management documentation
  • 3+ years of experience with specification, standards, and instructions development
  • Combat/weapon system configuration management processes and functions
  • Documentation version control and release
  • Software metrics generation and reporting
  • Software media generation
  • Hardware/software documentation generation, verification, and distribution
  • Software development process documentation
  • At least two (2) years concurrent experience supporting Navy programs such as LCS SUW Mission Package Application Software (MPAS), SLBM Fire Control (FC) Systems, Tomahawk and/or USW systems.

Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience and familiarity with command operations at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).

Education: Bachelors degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline or 6 years relevant experience

Minimum Clearance: Final Secret
