The Licensed Vocational Nurse/Medical Assistant, under general supervision, provides routine nursing care within the limits of nursing knowledge, education, licensure, experience and ethical, legal standards of care. Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization.
LVN: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
MA: Graduate of medical assistant program or military MA program or applicable experience in the healthcare field.

Skill in nursing practices within the scope of responsibilities assigned to this role. Skill in organization and efficiency. Excellent computer and keyboarding skills. Ability to manage multiple nursing activities simultaneously with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment. Ability to have excellent attention to detail. Required Licensure /Registration /Certification:
LVN: Current Texas Licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse and current CPR
MA: Current CPR
Possess the knowledge to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care under the direction of the Provider and Nursing Supervisor.
