Payroll Manager - Ceridian Dayforce

Our Direct is looking for a Payroll Manager - Ceridian Dayforce for a Contract role.

This is a 3 – 6-month contract (can go longer or might be open for contract to hire)
Location: Kenilworth, NJ 07033
Onsite Role Monday – Friday
In-person interview
Must have Ceridian Dayforce experience.

As the Payroll Operations Manager you will be responsible for owning Payroll and the Ceridian Dayforce application. In this role, you’ll be a “doing” manager as you run bi-monthly payroll and work with Finance and Human Resources to run applicable reports. As the Dayforce “Super User”, you’ll love figuring out how the application can be leveraged and used to more fully assist the business.

What you’ll do:
• Manage the payroll processing function and be responsible for payroll
• Be the Ceridian Dayforce “Champion” or “Super User”
• Actively improve payroll processes and procedures
• Export, manipulate, manage and analyze data in Dayforce, as well as run reports
• Maintain the integrity of the Dayforce data
• Communicate with Finance and Human Resources Leaders

Payroll for 1600 employees, biweekly, 75% exempt, 25% non exempt.  All time is recorded in time keeping systems.

What you’ve done:
• 8+ years’ payroll experience
• Experience/Exposure with Ceridian Dayforce is required
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven experience as a Payroll and HCM system administrator, analyst and manager
• Must be inquisitive and a doing manager
• Passion for improving processes, systems and procedures while leveraging technology
• Possess a high degree of flexibility, creativity, persistency and resiliency
• Ability to communicate effectively will all levels of employees & leadership, and operate in a matrix organization with shifting priorities
