Quality Support Specialist

* At the direction of the Director-QI/Risk, the Quality Support Specialist independently coordinates and oversees assigned programmatic administrative and data systems, and helps to manage process improvement projects across the CMC/DHK Campus. Provide administrative support for the department director and manager. Assist with facilitating QI/Risk departmental operations. Develop and manage a process that organizes and communicates the quality improvement and patient safety efforts within the organization. Serve as a resource for clinicians, managers, and administrators for issues as they arise, making proposals and recommendations for resolution. Use discretion when working with confidential clinician and patient information as part of efforts to understand and improve patient care delivery processes. Minimum Education: High School Diploma - Associates Degree strongly preferred. Minimum Experience: 2 years applicable experience required, including demonstrated proficiency in computer, analytical, and organizational skills and Project Management experience. Specific Skills, Knowledge and/or Competencies: - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to handle confidential material with maturity, sensitivity, and discretion - Precise attention to detailed accuracy - Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Ability to work in mufti-faceted environment - Ability to work with changing priorities and meet non-negotiable deadlines.
