Job Responsibilities: Care Assistants provide basic, uncomplicated patient care and assist with unit/department operations under the supervision of Registered Nurses. The assignment of job responsibilities is as delegated by Registered Nurses assigned to supervise the Care Assistant and in accordance with this job description. Job Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Medical Terminology## PC Skills 1-2 years# experience working with children/families If not a CNA, one of the following criteria must be met: Enrolled in a professional (BSN/AD) or practical (LPN) nursing education program and have successfully completed the fundamentals in nursing course Within the past three (3) years, was a professional (BSN/AD) or practical (LPN) nursing licensure candidate who failed to pass the state licensure examination in any state Worked as a nurse assistant, emergency medical technician (EMT), or surgical technician within the past three (3) years Completed a UAP (unlicensed assistive personnel) program in Missouri or another State ( that meets current regulatory requirements) within the past three (3) years Completed a professional (BSN/AD) or practical (LPN) nursing program outside the US and is awaiting the licensure examination in this country EEO Employer/Disabled/Vet#Job Responsibilities:
