Marketing Coordinator


This is a full time position; hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5p.m., may vary with task/assignment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Negotiate with vendors for marketing materials.

* Assist with promotions, mailers, and phone follow-ups.

* Help with distributor and dealer programs including assisting with PowerPoints, price lists, collateral, and other materials needed.

* Maintain company databases and competitive matrix.

* Assist with creative planning and execution of tradeshows and customer events.

* Assist in developing creative advertising for new product launches.

* Update company web-sites and ensure all information is current.

* Manage the Dealer Locator list.

* Assist with answering consumer emails.

* Assist Customer and Technical Services when needed to assist with customer calls related to product questions.

* Coordinates activities to inform customers of new types, specifications and application of products.

* Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends as needed.

* Manage Marketing Content for key customer accounts.

* Assist with continuous market research and analysis to identify and define new product innovations in areas such as but not limited to:

* Competitive brands, value and price positioning.

* Market size and potential sales available.

* Gap analysis to optimize mix in all product offerings.

* Line extensions and enhancements to existing products.

* Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

* Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of related experience and education.

* Experience in marketing, office administration, and customer service.


* Communicate in the English language, both written and orally.

* Communicate effectively over the phone or in person with customers, individuals or groups within the organization.

* Read, analyze and interpret business, professional and technical information.

* Write reports, business correspondence and procedures.


* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.


* Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

* Interpret, carry out and provide instructions in written, oral or diagram form.

* Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

* Maintain effective working relationship with others.


* To perform this job successfully, an individual should have comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word and Excel) and Internet Applications. Adobe software experience is a plus.
