TSS-Therapeutic Staff Support
Staffing Plus, Inc. is currently looking to contract TSS-Therapeutic Staff Support to deliver services within the child’s educational environment.
The TSS provides individualized therapeutic support to a child in their school or home settings. A TSS is an integral member of a child’s treatment team and works collaboratively with other team members to implement intensive, behaviorally based treatment strategies and interventions. Children served range in age from 4-18
Provide direct therapeutic intervention and support to a child in order to assist in the child’s development of positive social, emotional, and behavioral skills.
Implement child’s individual resiliency plan created by Behavior Specialist and deliver evidence based strategies and interventions designed to address challenging behaviors.
Observe and collect behavioral data on a daily basis and provide therapeutic summary of service through a daily progress note.
May be required to participate in weekly supervision with clinical supervisor and engage in learning opportunities to improve clinical service delivery.
Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and adhere to ethical expectations as required.
Bachelor’s degree in one (1) of the following disciplines: Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice,
other Human Service field.
1 year verified full-time paid experience working in direct contact with children/adolescents is preferred
Any other bachelor’s degree requires 1 year verified full-time paid experience* working in direct care with children/adolescents is required.
Associate’s degree or 60 Credits toward a bachelor’s degree and (3) years verified full-time paid work experience working
indirect contact with children/adolescents in the following areas: MH, MR, early intervention, children & youth, juvenile justice
system, education, drug & alcohol, daycare or health systems.
Must be able to provide Degree and official transcripts.
Current State Required Clearances (Criminal Background, Child Abuse and PDE FBI Fingerprinting), Current Physical and
PPD screening &Current CPR and First Aid Certification are a MUST to start all cases!
Valid driver’s license with access to an automobile, preferred or ability to utilize public transportation.
